The Farmer Co-op. shipped a car load of stock to Chicago last week.
Fred Oelig returned from a week’s visit with his brother near Cadott.
Max Schenk and wife of Milwaukee are visiting his mother and sister, Mrs. Paul Zerbel.
Mrs. Chas. Bolling was called to Dallas by the death of a sister, Mrs. J. R. Hankin. The funeral was held Friday and Mrs. Bolling returned on Saturday night.
Miss Naomi Bollom of Neillsville spent a few days with her aunt, Mrs. C. Noyes.
Mrs. Nina Stuve took Mrs. A. C. Rosalack to Eau Claire to see the doctor.
Thursday night the new American Legion Post received its charter. W. H. Siemering of West Salem, 7th district commander, instituted the post. Melcher -- matte Post No. 320 named in honor of two local world war men, Pvt. Armin Matte and Pvt. Alphonse Melcher. Post 320 will meet on the second and fourth Monday nights of each month in their hall above the bank.
