Mrs. Susie Bornhofen was pleasantly surprised Friday evening , Jan. 15, the occasion being her 65th birthday.

The kitchen help joined in with Mrs. Bornhofen to celebrate. Refreshments were served. The birthday cake was made by Mrs. A. Murphy. Mrs. Bornhofen received many useful gifts.

Susie has worked at the Merchants Hotel for the past 11 years. She has performed her work daily with the utmost care and interest. She has many friends who now join in wishing her long life and continued happiness and success.
