Henning, Ella (Marriage - 23* Jan. 1932) *Could be off
Ella Henning, daughter of Mrs. John Henning, and Walter Elmhorst, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Elmhorst, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at 1:30, Rev. Carl Hoeh performed the ceremony at the Lutheran parsonage at Maple Works. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Ted Smith.
The bride was becomingly gowned in blue flat crepe and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations.
A delicious wedding supper was served to 28 guests at the home of the bride’s mother, after which a shower, and dance was held at the hall in Chili. Many beautiful and useful gifts were received.
The young couple will go to housekeeping on a farm in Illinois where the groom has employment after March first.
Mr and Mrs. Elmhorst are well known in this locality and have many friends who wish them happiness and prosperity in their new home.
