Hotchkiss, Joseph H. (17 Sep 1886 - 16 May 1927)

Joseph H. Hotchkiss, a resident of this city the past two years, passed away at his home on West Fourth St. Monday morning, following an attack of pneumonia. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from the Baer-Lange-Rembs funeral home, followed by interment at Chili, Clark County, Wis. Rev. W. J. Ferne of the First English Lutheran Church conducted the services.

Mr. Hotchkiss was born in Jackson Co., Wis. about forty years ago and lived at Chili a number of years before coming to this city, where he has been employed as a section hand on the Northwestern Railroad. Besides his wife and six children ranging in ages from seventeen to three years, he leaves his aged mother, who resides at Chili, and a brother in Milwaukee.
