Bannach, Clara (29 MAY 1928)
Miss Clara Bannach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bannach and Mr. Clarence F. Becker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Becker were united in marriage on Tuesday morning May 29th at 8:00. The ceremony was performed at the Ascension Church of Harvey Ill., by Rev. Phillip P. Furlong.
The bride wore a dress of rose-tan georgette trimmed with lace with a hat to match and carried a shower bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley. She was attended by Miss Corrine Becker of Milwaukee, sister of the groom, who wore a blue georgette dress trimmed with lace, and carried a bouquet of roses.
The groom was attired in a suit of tan. He was attended by his brother Arthur, who also wore tan. After the ceremony the newly weds went to Milwaukee for a short visit.
The bride is well and favorably known here, having lived in and around Loyal for the past twelve years. She was employed at the A. Davel Co., Store for the past four or five years and has a large number of friends and acquaintances.
The groom is also known to many here, coming with his parents from Manchester, Iowa in 1923 and settling on a farm southwest of Loyal. He is a man of fine character and sterling worth.
Mr. and Mrs. Becker will make their home at Harvey, Ill. as the former has a position as welder with the Illinois Central Railroad.
The Tribune joins with their many friends in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.
