Prust, Robert C. (13 NOV 1925 - 12 NOV 2004)
Robert C. Prust, 78, Chili died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 15, at Our Father’s House, Chili. The Rev. Ronald H. Johnson officiated. Burial was in the United Methodist Cemetery in the town of Fremont. Pallbearers were his grandsons, Daniel Prust, Brandon Prust, Stephen Prust, Nicholas Prust, Timothy Prust, Phillip Prust, Tyler Prust, Kyle Schutz and Korey Schutz. Military Rites were conducted at the cemetery by the American Legion Post# 175 of Loyal.
Robert C. Prust was born on Nov. 13, 1925, to John and Louise [nee Beilke] Prust in the town of Fremont. He married Joan Drescher in April of 1952 and later divorced. After their marriage , he entered the United States Army serving in the Korean Conflict from June 4, 1953, until his honorable discharge on March 3, 1955. He returned to Chili after his military service and farmed in Fremont township for 50 years. He recently retired from St. Vincent De Paul because of ill health after several years. He was a member of Our Father’s house and American Legion Post #175 of Loyal.
Survivors include seven children, Carey Prust, Marshfield, Terry [Cynthia] Prust, Spencer, Brian [Kathryn] Prust, Marshfield, Keith [Eileen] Prust, Marshfield, Rhonda [Herb] Bolosky, West Alexandria, Pa., Bruce [Sharlene], Chili and Kevin [Pam] Prust, Marshfield; 13 grandchildren, Christina [Fiance Michael Mroz] Prust, Daniel Prust, Brandon Prust, Stephen Prust, Emily Prust, Nicholas Prust, Timothy Prust, Phillip Prust, Ashley Prust, Tyler Prust, MacKenzie Prust, Kyle Schutz and Korey Schutz; three sisters, Viola [Ray] Otto, Kaukauna, Edna Masephol, Marshfield, and Dorothy [Walter] Friant, Marshfield; and one brother, Harold [Vera] Prust, Plymouth.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one son, Randy Prust.
Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home, Marshfield assisted the family with arrangements.
