DRAKE-NELSON
June 14, 1945
The marriage of Miss Trevalyn DRAKE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter DRAKE, and Leon NELSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred NELSON, all of Loyal, took place on Thursday, June 14, at the Methodist Church, Loyal, the Rev. Myron E. Taylor officiating. Music for the service was furnished by Mrs. Calvin PRIOR and Miss Lavonne SMITH.
Three young friends from Loyal, Miss Loretta MISSLING, Miss Mavis FOHRMAN and James HOLLOWELL, and John KERN Jr., of Colby, were the attendants.
The bride wore a white satin, lace-trimmed gown made with a sweetheart neckline, and a finger-tip veil of illusion. Her flowers were a shower bouquet of pink and white roses.
After a wedding trip to Milwaukee, Chicago and Wisconsin Dells, the couple will reside on a farm near Loyal. Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Loyal high school.
