Dahl, Ferdinand (Jun 27, 1898 - Aug. 30 1944)

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at Granton for Ferdinand Dahl, 46, who died Aug. 30 at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire. The Rev. Lloyd H. Goetz of Pittsville had charge of the services at 2 o’clock at the Gilbertson Funeral Home and at 2:15 o’clock at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial took place in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were L.L. Spry, Roland Quicker, William Schmidtke, Elmer Elmhorst, Emil Henninger, and Milton Hawley.

Mr. Dahl was born at Clintonville June 27, 1898, and came to Clark County with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Dahl, 38 years ago. He lived in the Town of York since then. His marriage to Freda Garbisch took place Nov. 26, 1919, at Mapleworks parsonage.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Erlin and Byrl; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Dahl; five brothers, William of Medford and George, Ed, Arthur, and Arnold, all of the town of York; and four sisters, Mrs. Harold (Josephine) Wray, Pearblossom, Calif.; Mrs. Jake (Emma) Schneider, Milwaukee; Mrs. Walter (Viola) Foemmel, Chili; and Mrs. Robert (Elsie) Stark, Greenwood.
