The following item was taken from the Chequamegon Critic of Ashland, Wis., issue of Saturday, April 9, 1904:
"Miss Dora Lundahl and Mr. Louis Homsted, of Dorchester, Clark County, Wis., were united in marriage Monday morning at the home of the bride's parents. Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple came to Ashland, where both the bride and groom are attending the North Wisconsin Academy. The marriage came as a complete surprise to their many friends in this city but then, we never can tell who may be the victims of Cupid's darts. The Critic unites with their many friends in wishing them a long and happy voyage on the sea of matrimony."
