Naumann, Henry (? - 3 NOV 1914)
Henry Naumann, an aged Civil War veteran of the town of Holton, died Tuesday morning in the depot at Spencer while being taken from the Marshfield Hospital to his home east of this village (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.), death being caused by cancer of the liver.
He had been a patient at the hospital for several weeks and was apparently recovering, but became suddenly worse and died while waiting at Spencer early Tuesday morning for 103.
The funeral, conducted by Undertaker E. J. Fuchsgruber, was held Thursday afternoon from St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Rev. F. Ho Moecker officiating, and interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery.
He leaves to mourn his death, a wife, three step-children, one son and one daughter.
