Olson, Ella (28 AUG 1887 - 4 Feb 1916)

Mrs. Ella Olson, daughter of Edward Brecke, died at the State Hospital at Winnebago, Friday, Feb. 4th, 1916, at 9 a.m. of apoplexy, aged twenty-eight years, five months and seven days.

Deceased was born on Aug. 28, 1887 and about six years ago was married to Ole Olson, to which union was born two sons.

Mrs. Olson lived in our immediate community (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) since her birth and is well known and liked by all. She was a woman of rather quiet disposition and was a kind loving daughter and her devotion to her family was unlimited.

She had been subject to apoplexy for about eighteen years and about six months ago was taken to the State Hospital at Winnebago to receive treatment, but of no avail.

Her remains were shipped here last Saturday, funeral services being held Monday from the Norwegian Lutheran Church, Rev. Reishus officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery.

Deceased leaves to mourn her, a husband, two children, parents, five brothers and two sisters.

People from out of town who attended the funeral were: Gust Edstrum of Merrill; Mrs. Jensen and son of Rudolph.
