(5 Feb 1916) Last Saturday,
Feb. 5, 1916, at Norfolk, Neb occurred the marriage of Miss Gladys
Hartford to Alfred Marquardt. The wedding
ceremony was performed at the Baptist Church at 5:45 a.m., Rev.
Harris officiating. Immediately after the wedding the young couple
left on a wedding trip to Sioux City, Iowa, Minneapolis and from
there came to Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. Mr. Marquardt is
well known in our community, having lived here for several years.
He is employed by Swift & Co. as traveling salesman. After a short
visit here they intend to return to Norfolk where the young couple
intends to make their home. The Herald joins
