DORCHESTER HERALD (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) 09/08/1916 Sprotte, Mary (6
SEP 1916) A pretty wedding
was solemnized at the Lutheran Church in Milan, at 2 o'clock
Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1916. The contracting parties were Miss Mary
Sprotte and Fred Denzin, Jr. Rev. Jensen was the officiating
clergyman who tied the nuptial knot, pronouncing the ceremony which
united the lives of these estimable young people. The bride was
becomingly attired in white messaline with embroidery net and
carried a bouquet of gladiolas and astors. The Misses Margaret
Sprotte and Margaret Denzin acted as bridesmaids and George Resech
and Ben Jurgemeyer as groomsmen. A reception was
given the many guests after the ceremony at the farm home of the
groom one mile south of Jerkwater, where the young people will make
their future home. After an evening
most pleasantly spent in a social manner the guests departed
wishing the happy couple a pleasant and prosperous life. The Herald joins
with their many friends in congratulations and best wishes as they
embark on life's rugged voyage together. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
