DORCHESTER HERALD (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) 09/08/1916 Billock, Clara
(AUG 1916) A pretty church
wedding was solemnized at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Chippewa
Falls, last week Thursday, when Miss Clara Billock became the bride
of Fred Hass of that city. The bride is a
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Billock of this city (Dorchester,
Clark County, Wis.) and for the past two years has been employed at
Chippewa Falls. The groom,
although a stranger here, we are given to understand is an
energetic young man, being employed as shoemaker in a large store
there. Thresea, sister of
the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and Percy Cherrier as
groomsman. After the church
ceremony the young couple came to Dorchester, where a reception was
tendered them at the home of the bride's parents. The happy young
couple returned to Chippewa Falls the next day where they
immediately took up housekeeping. The Herald joins
with their many friends in extending congratulations. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
