SCHUMACHER BOXRUCKER DECKER ----Source:
DORCHESTER HERALD (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) 09/29/1916 Schumacher,
Elizabeth (26 Sep 1916) On Tuesday, Sept.
26, 1916, at St. Louis Catholic Church occurred the marriage of
Miss Elizabeth Schumacher to Mr. Jacob Boxrucker, Rev. E. H. Beyer
pronouncing the ceremony which united the lives of these estimable
young people. The Misses Amanda
Schumacher and Caroline Decker acted as bridesmaids, both of whom
wore dresses of white voile. Peter Schumacher and Casper Boxrucker
were groomsmen. Immediately after
the church ceremony the happy young couple drove to the home of the
bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schumacher, living 5 1/2 miles
northwest of here (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.), where a wedding
reception was given them at high noon. The bride was
dressed in a beautiful gown of white messaline and wore a wreath.
She is well known in this community, having lived with her folks
since their coming here from Kimberly fourteen years ago, and is
loved and respected by all. The groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Boxrucker, of near Medford and has a
wide acquaintance among the people here. The young couple
will make their home on the farm one and one-half miles northeast
of the bride's parents home. The love and
esteem in which this worthy young couple is held was shown by the
numerous and beautiful presents they received. Their friends wish
them a long, pleasant and prosperous life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
