DORCHESTER HERALD (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) 10/13/1916 Brown, Alvina (10
OCT 1916) On Tuesday
afternoon at two o'clock, at the German Evangelical Frieden's
Church, occurred the marriage of Miss Alvina Brown, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. A. Brown, living one and one-half miles northwest of town
(Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.), to Mr. Otto Henkelmann of the
town of Hayward, east of Wausau. Henry Henkelmann
and Carl Brown acted as groomsmen and the Misses Marie Hartwig and
Rosa Brown as bridesmaids. The bride was
becomingly attired in a dress of light blue. The groomsmen wore the
conventional black. After the church
ceremony a reception was tendered the young people at the bride's
home. After a few days' stay here the newly married people will go
to their home near Wausau where the groom has a farm. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
