DORCHESTER HERALD (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) 12/08/1916 Kalepp, Martha (7
DEC 1916) What more
appropriate time could there be for the union of hearts than this,
the season just before the holidays, when the hearts of the whole
world are going out to their fellow men. Love is the formations of
all that is good and pure. Mr. and Mrs. Otto
Kalepp request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their
daughter Martha, to Mr. Arthur E. Cook, on Thursday afternoon, Dec.
7, 1916, at Evangelical Lutheran St. Peter's Church, Dorchester,
Clark County, Wis., at half after two o'clock. At 2:30 the bridal
couple attended by the Misses Edna and Frieda Kalepp and Messrs.
Bernhard Juedes and Carl Tischendorf took their place at the altar
and were pronounced man and wife by Rev. F. H. Moecker, the text of
his address being taken from 1 Chronicles, 17:27, "Now therefore
let it please Thee to bless the house of Thy servant, that it may
be before Thee forever, for Thou blessest, O Lord, and it shall be
blessed forever." The bride was
attired in a beautiful gown of white messaline and carried a shower
bouquet of roses, also wearing a wreath and veil. The groom is an
electrician at Wausau, for which place the young couple leave
tomorrow to make their future home. It is with
pleasure that we join with their many friends in wishing them
success in their married life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
