Geisler, Margaret (19 Aug. 1874 - 30 Jan. 1932)
Mrs. Margaret Geisler passed away at the Neillsville Hospital on Saturday, Jan. 30, after an illness of several months.
Margaret Gangler was born in Milwaukee August 19, 1874. When a small child she came with her parents to Neillsville and grew to womanhood here. In 1896 she was married to Julius Geisler. Two years later they loved to Chicago where they lived seven years. They returned to Neillsville and went to farming in the town of Pine Valley. Mr. Geisler died six years ago. Since then Mrs. Geisler has lived most of the time on the farm.
She is survived by four sons and three daughters: Frank, George, William and Julius Jr. and Margaret, Mrs. George Turner; Katherine, Mrs. Wm. Buddinger; and Miss Louise Geisler, all of this vicinity.
She leaves also four brothers: Nick Gangler of Neillsville; Matt, John and Peter of Chicago; and one sister, Mrs. Wm. Hughes of Milwaukee.
The funeral was held Monday forenoon at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. Peter Weber, officiating. The body was sent to Chicago for burial in Forest Home cemetery beside her husband.
