Mrs. J. M. Tompkins of Rice Lake, a former well known Granton resident died Monday, Feb. 29. She is survived by her husband, three son, Robert of Duluth, Fred of Madison, and Frank of Rice Lake and by one daughter living in New York; and by several grandchildren. Mrs. Tompkins was one of Clark county’s pioneer school teachers and was loved.
