Lockman, Nellie (12 Jan. 1861 - 2 March 1932)

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Miss Nellie Lockman at the Walter Moldenhauer home in the town of Grant. She was born in Silesia, Germany, Jan. 12, 1861 and came with relatives to Wisconsin in 1873. She lived in the town of Lynn until about 20 years of age when she went to Chicago. She lived there for 40 years then going to Duluth where she spent the remember of her life, passing away there on March 2. Funeral services were held at Duluth, the Christian Science ritual being used, and the body brought to the Walter Moldenhauer home in Grant, her old girlhood home, where services were held on Tuesday, Bell Brothers undertakers of Duluth being in charge and Rev. Wendell Bennetts of Lindsey officiating. She was laid to rest in the Lynn cemetery.

She leaves one sister, Mrs. Chas. Lowe, Sr., of Duluth; two nieces, Miss Nell Lowe of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Beatrice Lowe Bibble of Detroit; one nephew, Chas. Lowe, Jr., of Granton and two grandnephews.
