Ketel, Louis (30 May 1889 - 22 April 1932)
Louis Ketel who had long been an invalid at the County Hospital at Owen, passed away on Friday, April 22. Louis was born in Neillsville, May 30, 1889, being the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ketel. He grew to manhood here and was very active and strong. When about 22 years of age, he was stricken with epilepsy as the result of a previous accident, and in time this so affected his health that he had to be constantly cared for.
He leaves the following named brother and sisters: Mrs. Frank George and Mrs. Frank Thompson, both of St. Helens, Oregon; Mrs. Leslie Hubbard of Janesville, Wis.; Albert Ketel of Barrington, Ill.; Mrs. David Pickering and Mrs. Albert Wegner, both of Sheldon, Wis.; Mrs. David Gallagher of Neillsville.
The funeral was held at Schiller’s Funeral home Sunday afternoon, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. The brother and all of the sisters with their families attended the funeral; also Mr. and Mrs. Emil Ketel and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Schoep all of Ladysmith.
