Brown, Hazel May (Marriage - 30 March 1932)
Miss Hazel May Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Brown of the town of Weston was married March 20 at 2:30 p.m. in the Globe Lutheran church to Elmer C. Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Adams of the town of Pine Valley. Rev. W. Motzkus performed the ceremony, the double ring service being used.
The bride was attended by the Miss Viola Adams, a sister of the bride-groom, as maid of honor and Miss Florence Stelloh. She was attired in a pretty costume of white ankle length satin and carried a bouquet of white roses, pine sweet peas and baby breath. The groom was attended by Gordon Sharratt, as best man and George Luebke, half brother of the bride.
A reception and supper was held at the home of the bride’s parents at 6 p.m., at which 75 guests were entertained. The home was beautifully decorated in white, peach and nile green. In the evening a dance was given at the Christie Hall, which was attended by a large crowd and many useful gifts were received by the newlyweds.
Mr and Mrs. Adams have a large circle of friends in their communities who join in extending them wishes for a long and happy wedded life. They have taken up their residence on the farm of the bride’s parents.
