Putzel, Bertha (Marriage - 1 June 1932)

Mr. Edward E. Holt and Miss Bertha Putzel were married at Sunset Point, Wednesday evening June 1 by Rev. G. W. Longenecker. They were attended by Miss Frieda Putzel, sister of the bride and Mr. Joe Haesar. The groom is the son of Mrs. Albert Holt of the town of Weston, and the bride is the daughter of John Putzel of Eaton.

Mr and Mrs. Holt have the distinction of being the hundredth couple Mr. Longenecker has married since he came back to Neillsville in 1916. Of these one hundred couples not one has been divorced although the average for the state is one couple divorced for every six marriages.
