Cain, Pearl (25 JUL 1905 - 19 Jul 1984)
Granton, Clark County, Wis. - Mrs. Manford (Pearl) Cain, 78, Granton, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Home of Neillsville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Chili. The Rev. Calvin Carey will officiate and burial will be in the United Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today and until noon Sunday at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.
The former Pearl Peoples was born July 25, 1905 at Coleta, Ill., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John (Elfreida) Peoples, and received her education in Illinois. She was married July 13, 1926 at Galena, Ill., to Manford Cain.
They lived in Morrison, Ill., until 1948, when they moved to a farm in the Town of Fremont, Clark County. In 1963, they moved to Granton.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. A. H. (Betty) Boysen of Naples, Fla., and Mrs. Fred (Laurie) Winkler of Granton; two sons, John of Madison and Richard of Decatur, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and five sisters.
