Gerber, Lois M. (24 Apr 1936 - 26 Feb 1987)

Former town of Lynn resident, Lois M. Gerber, 50, Reedsburg, died Monday in Madison Methodist Hospital, following an extended illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Reedsburg, with the Rev. Michael Ida officiating. Burial will be in the Methodist Cemetery, Chili.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at the Grant Funeral Home, Reedsburg.

She was born April 24, 1936, at Lynn, Clark County, to Leland and Clara Gerber. She was a graduate of Wood County Teachers College, and obtained a bachelor's degree at the University of Wis.-Stevens Point.

She taught in the Reedsburg School System for many years, prior to retiring.

Surviving are her mother, Clara Gerber of Reedsburg; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Vivian) Dudley of Wis. Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, and a brother, Marvin.
