Houston, Nellie (17 Feb 1914 - 19 Apr 1987)

Nellie Houston, 73, Route 2, Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., died early Sunday morning at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Thorp Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Olson officiating. Burial will be in the East Thorp Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born Feb. 17, 1914, in Dyer, Tenn., to James and Mae Craver.

She was married to William Houston in 1939 in Dyer. She had worked at Walgreen Drugs in Memphis, Ten., for 50 years, retiring in 1981. Her husband died in 1983, and she had lived in the town of Mead for the past year.

Surviving is a niece, Kathleen Skora, of rural Greenwood.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
