Cain, Manford (12 FEB 1904 - 3 Apr 1987)
Granton, Clark County, Wis. - Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, Chili, Clark County, for Manford L. Cain, 83, of Granton, who died Friday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.
The Rev. Calvin Carey will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, and again on Monday until noon, when the body will be taken to the church.
Mr. Cain was born Feb. 12, 1904, at Colita, Ill. He attended school in Illinois.
He married Pearl Peoples Jul 1, 1926. They moved to a farm in the town of Fremont in 1948. They retired and moved to Granton in 1960. She died July 19, 1984.
He served as treasurer for the village of Granton and was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chili.
Surviving are two sons, John, Madison and Richard of Decatur, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Boysen, Naples, Fla., and Mrs. Fred (Delores) Winkler of Granton; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
