Lindow, Edward A. (7 Apr 1907 - 3 Dec 1987)
Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Edward A. Lindow, 80, died at 6:40 a.m. Thursday at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital.
Private services will be held Monday at the Methodist Cemetery in Chili, Clark County. The Rev. Calvin Carey will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers are Don Lindow, Marlyn Lindow, Vernon Lindow, Marion Lee, Lloyd Ure, Ronald Ure, Ronald Schlinsog and Claire Schlinsog.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, with a memorial service at 8 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.
He was born April 7, 1907 in Fremont, Clark County to Lewis and Maria Lindow.
He married Marian Ure, June 15, 1927 in Chili at the United Methodist Church.
They spent most of their married life in farming on the home farm in the Chili area. They celebrated their 60th anniversary in June 1987.
He was a trustee of the United Methodist Church of Chili.
He is survived by his wife, Marian; two daughters, Carol Baumgartner of Wickenburg, Ariz., and Ardith Arbelovsky of Kenai, Alaska; one sister, Lillie Schlinsog of Neillsville; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters and his parents.
