Lindow, Irene (20 JUL 1891 - 5 JUN 1981)
Chili, Clark County, Wis.- Mrs. Albert W. (Irene) Lindow, 89, died late Friday afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, the Rev. Frank R. Hinebaugh officiating, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitations will be from 3-9 p.m. Sunday at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, and again until noon Monday, when the body will be taken to the church.
The former Irene Happe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Happe, was born July 20, 1891 near Lomira in Dodge County, where she began her education. In 1900 the family moved to Clark County, where she continued her education for six years at Heathville Rural School near Chili.
She and Albert W. Lindow were married July 29, 1914 at Chili. They farmed in the town of Fremont and after retiring in 1970 moved to Chili.
She was a member of Chili United Methodist Church and its Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Lorna) Riedel, Granton; two sons, Lawrence Lindow, Owen, and Milton Lindow, Chili; two sisters, Misses Alma and Elda Happe, both of Chili; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother.
