Hodges, Otis W. (4 DEC 1898 - 22 Dec 1981)
Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Otis W. Hodges, 83, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Neillsville Memorial Home, where he had been residing the past several years due to ill health.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Gesche Funeral Home, with Rev. William A. Noble, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the United Methodist Cemetery at Chili.
Friends May call from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the funeral home.
Mr. Hodges was born Dec. 4, 1898 at Charles City, Iowa, where he received his education. In 1916, he moved to Clark County, Wis. with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin J. (Anna L. Streblow) Hodges.
He worked on farms in the Marshfield and Chili areas and also worked and traveled with the Ringling Brothers Circus for many years. He was employed for several years in Florida.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Bartz, Neillsville, and Mrs. Inez Patek and Miss Edna Hodges, both of Milwaukee.
He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers.
