Lindow, Marian M. (6 May 1906 - 6 Jul 1991)

Granton, Clark County, Wis. - Services for Marian M. Lindow, 85, formerly of the Chili, Clark County area, who died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Home, Neillsville, will be at 8 p.m. Friday at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.

The Rev. Calvin Carey of Chili will officiate.

Private graveside services will be Saturday at United Methodist Cemetery, rural Chili.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born May 6, 1906, in the town of Lynn, to the late John and Mary (Mahn) Ure. She attended schools in Lynn and Neillsville and teacher's school in Neillsville. She taught for two years in Chili. She was married to Edward A. Lindow June 15, 1927, in Chili.

She and her husband farmed in the Chili area until retiring in the early 1960's. They then moved to the village of Chili.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Chili and a charter member of the United Methodist Women.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Ardith) Arbelovsky of Kenai, Alaska, and Mrs. Bill (Carol) Baumgartner of Wickenburg, Ariz.; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, four brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.
