Seif, William D. (10 Mar 1928 - 17 Jul 1990)
Machesney Park, Ill. - William D. Seif, 62, Machesney Park, Ill., formerly of the Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. area, died July 17 at Swedish American Hospital following a sudden illness.
Services with Masonic rites were held July 21 in Machesney Park with burial in Willwood Cemetery.
He was born March 10, 1928, in Marshfield, to Charles E. and Elsie (Wood) Seif. He married Karen Mitchell June 17, 1966, in Rockford, Ill.
He had resided in Neillsville for many years and was employed there by C. E. Seif Sons, a local family implement business. He was employed as a supervisor at Rockford Clutch for 30 years. He retired in 1988.
He was a member of St. Chad's Episcopal Church, the Masonic Lodge, the Shriners and other Masonic organizations, and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Renira Jacobson of Beloit and Renata and Regina Seif, both of Machesney Park; two sons, Larry of Machesney Park and Billy of Ridgecrest, Calif.; five daughters and one son from a previous marriage; one sister, Gertrude Hemp of Mosinee; and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Dale and Chester.
