Grimm, Anton J. (17 Jan 1867 - 2 Augl 1946)

Granton, Clark County, Wis. - Anton John Grimm, 79, of the town of Fremont, Clark County, died early this morning at his home. Old age complications caused his death.

The body will lie in state at the Gilbertson Funeral Home until Friday afternoon, when it will be taken to the Grimm home. Funeral services will be conducted there Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, followed by a 2 o'clock service at the Evangelical Church at Chili, the rev. S. A. Gutknecht officiating.

Mr. Grimm, son of the late John and Margaret Grimm, was born at Mark Toffinger, Bavaria, Germany, Jan. 17, 1867. His wife, the former Marie Dorothea Nebel, died Aug. 1, 1932.

A son, Albert, and a daughter, Anna, reside on the home farm.

Pallbearers at the funeral will be August and Luther Lindow, Ed Ott, Adolph and August Foemmel, and E. W. Lee.
