Millard, Louise (3 SEP 1928)
A very quiet wedding took place at Loyal September 3rd at 10:00 A. M. when Miss Louise Millard and Vernon Smith were united in marriage.
The bride wore a beige canton crepe dress trimmed with brown velvet. The groom wore a navy blue suit.
The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Verne Millard. She has lived the most of her life here and graduated from the local High School with the class of ’27. She is a young lady of charming personality and dearly loved by all who know her.
The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Smith, being associated with his father in farming. He is an ambitious and industrious young man and possesses a wide circle of friends, having lived here all his life.
After the wedding ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents, to immediate relatives only.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith are now on a wedding trip to the southern part of the state.
They will be at home to their many friends after Oct. 1st on the groom’s farm west of Loyal.
The Tribune joins with their many friends and acquaintances in extending heartiest congratulations.
