FEB 1838 - 1 Mar 1923) Mr. John Tauschen
died at the home of his son, Joseph, 2 miles north of Dorchester,
Thursday, March 1st, of dropsy and old age, being 85 years, 1 month
and 4 days at the time of death. The funeral services were held at
the home Saturday afternoon, March 3rd, Rev. Hilleman, Medford,
officiating, and he was laid at rest in the Stetsonville
Cemetery. The Tauschens came
to the United States from Bohemia in 1883 and settled in the town
of Little Black. His wife died last June and then he came to live
with his son. Beside Joseph, he
has 3 sons, Vincent, Frank and Raymond and one daughter, Mrs. Mary
Huebner, all residing at Phillips, and there are 11 grandchildren
and 17 great-grandchildren. The Clarion joins
with their many friends in offering sympathy to the bereaved
