Tessmer died at the home of her son-in-law, Herman Meyer, four
miles northeast of town (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.), Tuesday,
Aug. 14, 1923, of cancer after an illness of several weeks. She was
at the St. Joseph Hospital at Chippewa Falls about two weeks and
then was brought to the Meyer home so her daughter might care for
her. The funeral

2:00 at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Rev. Keiper
officiating. Augusta Otillie
Schultz was born in Pretz Lade Pozen, Germany, June 19, 1866. In
1884 she came to the United States and on May 6, 1886, was married
to Carl Tessmer at Pittsburgh, Penn. In 1891 they moved to
Dorchester where they have since resided. Seven children
were born to them, one deceased, Willie, and 6 living, Charlie,
Mrs. Otto Schultz, Albert, Mrs. Herman Lorenzen, Embarrass, Gustave
and Mrs. Herman Meyers. Another loving
mother and wife has slipped away into the great beyond and lonely
hearts are left but they May take comfort in the fact that she has
found a better home and that they had the loving care,
companionship and kindly council of her whom they called
mother. The Clarion joins
their many friends in offering condolence. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
