Brasier Mary A. (27 May 1844 - 21 Sep 1928)

Mary Almanda Shaver, was born in Cataragas County New York, May 27, 1844 and died at Loyal, Wisconsin September 21, 1928.

On December 25, 1862 she was united in marriage with John F. Brasier in Sheboyagan County, Wisconsin. In the year 1880 they moved to Loyal, where she has lived continuously for 48 years. She is survived by seven children who mourn her loss; they are; Jennie Clark, Brandon, Ia., Robert, Chippewa Falls; Harriet Fisher, Battle Creek, Michigan; Emily Huffman, Denver, Colorado; Albon, Medford; Olive Irvine, Neillsville; Ray, Hartford. Also twenty-eight grand children and eighteen great grand children; one sister, Mrs. William Lyons of Loyal, and one brother, Andrew Shaver of Springfield, South Dakota.

She lived a thorough Christian life, was a wonderful mother, and a sincere friend to all, and her loss will be keenly felt by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church Tuesday forenoon, Rev. Wilson Mallory officiating. Interment took place in the Loyal Cemetery.
