11/30/1923 Underwood, Virgil
(7 Jan 1923 - 23 NOV 1923) Little Virgil
Underwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Underwood, died Friday
evening of cholera infantum, after a short illness and was buried
Monday, Nov. 26th, Rev. Marks officiating, services at the house at
one and at the Little White Church at two o'clock, interment in the
Baptist Cemetery. Had the little
fellow lived until Jan. 7, he would have been a year old, just the
age when their cunning little ways endear them to us so much and it
seems so hard to lose them. His little twin brother, Vernon, was
also quite ill, but is much better and will soon be himself again,
we hope. Besides the twin
brother, he had two more brother, Alvin and Clinton, and a sister,
Edna. Though the little
one is gone and hearts are aching, May this though comfort them
that he has been transplanted tot he garden of God where no cold
blast of sorrow or trouble can harm, but will bloom on forever for
Jesus says, "Of such is the Kingdom of Heaven." © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
