DORCHESTER/ABBOTSFORD CLARION (Abbotsford, Clark Co., WI)
04/04/1924 Scheuerman, Clara
A. (1902 - 1 Apr 1924) Miss Clara Amelia,
only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scheuerman, Abbotsford, passed
away Tuesday morning at a Minneapolis hospital from a complication
of rheumatism and pneumonia, at the age of 21 years. Short services
were held at Minneapolis in the presence of the parents and the
body brought to their home at Abbotsford. Funeral services
were to be held from St. Peter's Lutheran Church here this
afternoon, but on account of relatives not being able to get here
it was postponed till tomorrow, Saturday, afternoon. Clara was well
known in Dorchester country as her parents lived 1 1/2 miles
northwest of the village until Miss Clara was almost a young lady.
She completed the eight grades in the Cleveland school and went to
high school in the village. She was a quiet unassuming girl,
friendly and pleasant, and well liked by all who knew her.
Possessor of a keen mind that gave promise for the future, and now,
as she enters womanhood, she is gone. Why, we dare not question,
but we are sure that when the clouds are rolled away we will
understand. The Clarion and
friends all sympathize with the bereaved ones. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
