Catherine M. Fischer, 99, a former resident of Loyal and Pittsville, died Friday Dec. 3, 2004 at Colby.

She was born Nov. 1, 1905 in Pierre, South Dakota to Peter and Cecelia (Fritza) Brusky. She married George Fischer Jr. on May 6, 1934 in Marshfield.

She is survived by three children, a daughter-in-law, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant daughter, Rita, in 1938, a son, Donald, and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held Monday Dec. 6 at St. Anthony's Catholic church in Loyal, with burial in the Gate of Heaven cemetery in Marshfield.
