05/16/1924 Algeier, Elsie (12
MAY 1924) A pretty wedding
took place at the Sacred Heart Church at Stetsonville Monday, May
12, 1924, at 8:00 a.m., when Miss Elsie Algeier, daughter of Peter
Algeier of Little Black, and Frank Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aug.
P. Miller of Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. were joined in marriage
to Rev. Joseph Betz, Pastor. The bridesmaids
were Miss Marie Grant of Medford and Miss Gertrude Tambornino, and
the attendants were Peter Miller, brother of the groom, and Frank
Lang, both of Dorchester. The bride was
attired in a white beaded canton crepe gown and carried a shower
bouquet of yellow, white and pink roses. The bridesmaids were
gowned in gray canton crepe and old rose georgette. The groom and
attendants wore the conventional blue. After the ceremony
the bridal party motored to the Dake Studio at Medford to have
photographs taken. A 12:00 o'clock
dinner was served at the groom's home, which was prettily decorated
in red, white and blue. The guests present
were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schumacher, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schumacher,
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lang, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Engel, Mr. and Mrs. Peter
Decker, Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Decker, Mr. and Mrs. Mertens, Mr. and

Miller, a brother of the groom, was also here from Chicago. A free wedding
dance was given at Esser's Hall in the evening. Mr. and Mrs.
Miller will reside on the A. P. Miller farm, as his parents are
going to move into the village onto the property recently acquired
from Eli Marcotte. Mr. and Mrs.
