COLBY -Rose Pauline Zawacki, 89, Owen, formerly of Colby died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, town of Colby, Clark County.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rose Title was born Sept. 23, 1915, in Taylor County, east of Medford. She married Michael Zawacki on Oct. 28, 1933, in Chicago. He died Feb. 24, 1998. They owned and operated many farms and taverns throughout the years.

Rose is survived by her children, Leon (Sandy) Zawacki, Rice Lake, Robert (Jimmie) Zawacki, Colorado Springs, Colo., Michael Zawacki, Aurora, Colo., and Gloria (Wayne) Tomandl, Cadott; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Joseph Title, Medford.
