CLARION (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) 01/09/1925 Scheller, William
(1850? - 4 Jan 1925) Mrs. John Habeck
received a message Monday morning stating that her uncle, William
Scheller, had died at the hospital at Marinette Sunday, Jan. 4th,
1925. William Scheller
was the only living brother of Mrs. Habeck's mother and naturally
it was very hard to know that he was gone. Mrs. Habeck and
Mrs. Schelk visited him about three weeks before he died as he was
very low at that time. He had injured his knee when a young man and
kept treating it whenever it bothered him. At times it was much
better, but last fall it became necessary to take him to the
hospital where everything available was tried. Gangrene set in, and
though they amputated several toes, it didn't help and death came
as a relief from suffering. Mr. Scheller had
lived a good span of years, seventy-four in all, and left those
behind who loved and respected his name. He visited here about two
and one half years ago and made friends of those who met him. He
leaves to mourn his loss his wife, a son, and two daughters. The Clarion offers
sympathy to the bereaved. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
