CLARION (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) 03/20/1925 Lotzer, Lena (29
OCT 1882 - 1 Mar 1925) Mrs. Paul Lotzer,
a former Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. resident, died at the
Marshfield Hospital after an illness of about three weeks and was
taken to Athens for burial. The Lotzer family
came here from Athens and Mr. Lotzer had the flour and feed store
for about ten years. Five years ago, they went back to Athens, then
to Chippewa Falls and thence to Greenwood. Lena Baeseman was
born in the town of Wein, Marathon Co., on Oct. 29th, 1882. She was
united in marriage to Paul Lotzer 19 years ago. Six children were
born to them, who with their father, survive her. They are
Clarence, Walter, Esther, Raymond, Virginia and Phyllis. Besides her own
children there are four step-children: Henry of Milan, Mrs. Raymond
Krakenberger of this village, Barbara of Milwaukee, and Helen of
Fond du Lac. Also her mother, six brothers and two sisters, namely,
Mrs. August Baeseman, Otto of Rib Falls, Henry of Fond du Lac,
Robert, Bernard, Arnold, Emil, Mrs. Rose Pankenne and Hilda
Baeseman, all of Edgar. All were present at the obsequies. Mrs. Lotzer was a
kind friend and good neighbor and her Dorchester friends were very
sorry to hear of her early demise and offer sympathy to the
