CLARION (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) 11/20/1925 Matheus, Hilda
(1888 - 15 NOV 1925) Mrs. Ferdinand
Matheus died at the Medford Clinic last Sunday noon after a major
operation which became necessary to save her child at least. It was
a heavy boy and in the best of health. Hilda Kusnick,
which was her maiden name, was born in 1888 near the city of Thorn
in East Prussia, Germany. Five years ago she came to this country
and became married to Mr. Ferdinand Matheus, a well known and
respected farmer in the western part of the town of Little Black.
Their married life was a very happy one and her loss, therefor, the
more deplorable for her husband. She had no other child than that
born last Sunday. The funeral took
place Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock with services in the Sacred
Heart Church, Rev. Betz officiating, and interment was made in the
Catholic Cemetery. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
