Witt, Alma (10 NOV 1928)
The marriage of Miss Alma Witt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Witt of Loyal, to Arnold Poepke, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Poepke of Milwaukee, took place at the Evangelical Lutheran Church Saturday evening, November 10, the Rev. H. F. Leschensky officiating.
The bride wore a gown of white transparent velvet and carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses and white pom-poms. Her tulle veil was fastened with pearls and rhinestones. She was attended by her sister, Miss Ella Witt, as maid of honor. Her gown was nude chiffon velvet, and she carried yellow roses and pom-poms.
Bernard Zuege attended the groom.
Following the ceremony there was a reception for immediate relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Poepke will reside in Milwaukee.
