Miss Sylvia W. Nelson, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nelson of Beaver and Walter Pieper, son of Mr. Frank Pieper of Beaver were united in marriage at the Lutheran parsonage in Beaver Dam on Dec. 22, 1928 at 7:00 P. M.. The Rev. Kirst performed the ceremony. Louise and Henry Feldhufen of Beaver Dam were attendants of the bridal couple.
The bride wore a tan satin faced crepe gown and carried a bouquet of salmon colored roses.
Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served at the home of the groom’s aunt, after which the couple left on a wedding trip in the southern part of the state. They returned to the home of the bride on Monday, Dec. 31st. The bride is a teacher of the Groveside School and will finish teaching the school year. She is a graduate of the local High School and completed her studies at the Teacher’s College at Stevens Point. She is an amiable and talented young lady of charming personality.
The groom in an industrious and meritorious young man, holds a responsible position with the State Cheese Commission at Spring Green, Wis.
The Tribune, with a wide circle of friends of the young couple, offers heartiest congratulations.
