Word was receives here Sunday that Mrs. Blaine Swartout passed away at her home at Bonduel Jan. 6th after an illness of several months. Although it was known that she was in failing health yet her death came as a shock to her old friends here.
Alice Hall is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hall, pioneer residents of Clark Co., and her early life, till her marriage fourteen years ago, was spent in this vicinity. She attended the Loyal High School.
She is survived by her husband, five sisters, and two brothers.
The body will be brought to Spencer and a service will be held in the Undertaking parlors at 10 A. M., Thursday Jan. 10th. Burial will be in the family lot at the Spencer Cemetery.
