Bushman, Herbert J. (21 March 1911 - 23 Jan. 2005)

STEVENS POINT - Herbert J. Bushman, 93, of Stevens Point, and formerly of Marshfield, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at Portage County Health Care Facility in Stevens Point.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will be in The Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Marshfield. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church. Shuda Funeral Chapel of Stevens Point is assisting the family.

Mr. Bushman was born March 21, 1911, in Greenwood to Peter and Josephine (Vandorski) Bushman. He married Isabelle Weigel Sept. 28, 1937, at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield. He was a mechanic for the Erickson and Gullixson Service Garages in Stevens Point until retirement in 1954 due to a disability.

Survivors include his wife, Isabelle; one daughter, Lois Jean (Franklin) Miller, Stevens Point; two sons, Gordon (Kitty) Bushman, Lincoln City, Ore., and Wayne (Carol) Bushman, Junction City; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Theresa Haasle, Milladore, and Verna Erickson, Withee.
