Dorothy Daniels daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Daniels of the town of Grant and Henry Elmhorst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Elmhorst, town of Fremont, were united in marriage, Sunday, July 17th at one o’clock in the afternoon at the Mapleworks Parsonage, Granton.
The Rev. Carl Hoeh performed the ceremony, using the double ring service. The couple was attended by Miss Christine Daniels, sister of the bride and Frederick Elmhorst, cousin of the groom.
The bride wore and ankle length dress of white chiffon and white picture hat and carried a bouquet of sweet peas and roses. The bridesmaid wore an ankle length dress of flowered green organdie with white picture hat and also carried flowers.
After the ceremony the bridal party returned to the home of the bride’s parents where light refreshments were served, only immediate relatives of the bridal couple being present. The young couple left immediately on an extended wedding trip through the northern part of the state.
The young people are well known in Granton and vicinity and have many friends who join in wishing them a happy marriage and all the good things in life.
